Southern Gothic is a journal of the best Southern voices and Southern stories that fall into the subgenre called Southern Gothic. The journal is published twice a year by WordArts, Inc., through CafePress.com. Each issue is available for order from our CafePress store or by ordering directly from WordArts, Inc. Subscriptions to the journal are also available.The Southern Gothic journal is supported by the Southern Gothic Online website. The first issue of SGO went live in May 2005, and in the first year we published two stories that were honored as Notable stories by the storySouth Million Writers Award.
